Our Mission

We here at mind the gap are passionate proponents of the neural sciences, and everything that comes with that.  We love neurons, technology, philosophy, and arguing.

This blog started out as a way for some close friends who have been separated by our graduate pursuits to keep up a conversation about the things we all love.  Somewhere along the way, it has been converted into my personal blog with a slightly different feel.  I guess I’ll try to describe my idea of what this is going to be below.

Pursuing a PhD is a deeply rewarding and intellectually stimulating experience.  Being surround by a culture of thinking all day long leads to an unending flow of ideas that jump from one sphere of knowledge to another.  Many of these ideas, while interesting, aren’t necessarily thesis worthy.  That’s where this blog comes in.  This blog will stand as my sounding board for all the things I think about when I’m not thinking about work, hopefully I’ll include some things that are cool along the way.

Hey guys, not sure if you still keep up with this blog, but it would be awesome if you did a post on this video.

Is it “neuro-babble” or something that holds real substance, a post from some neuroscience literate people would be awesome!
